Shanghai Disneyland Hotel Rules and Regulations
Welcome to Shanghai Disneyland Hotel! We work hard to offer a comfortable, safe and enjoyable experience for all of our Guests. You can help us by keeping in mind the following:
- Please do not bring illegal, explosive and flammable (e.g. firecrackers) or other dangerous items to the hotel. If any of the above items or suspected items are found, please contact a Cast Member immediately.
- Please do not bring pets to the hotel vicinity (with the exception of guide dogs). Guide dogs must remain on a leash or in a harness and under the control of the owner at all times.
- Please show common courtesy, both on-site and online, to fellow Guests, our Cast Members (including but not limited to staff and performers) and the Disney characters, and do not use profanity or engage in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior. For your safety and the safety of others, please refrain from running in the hotel.
- With the exception of designated outdoor smoking areas, smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes or other products that produce a vapor or smoke is not allowed in any hotel area. Please refer to Hotel Guide for designated smoking locations or ask a Cast Member for assistance.
- In accordance with local regulations and as part of our commitment to protecting the planet, from July 1, 2019, Shanghai Disney Resort Hotels will no longer stock hotel rooms with disposable single-use products.
- Please supervise children at all times. Do not leave them unattended in the hotel.
- You are responsible for the security and protection of your personal belongings at all times. Please leave your valuables in the safe.
The following activities are not allowed in the hotel:
- Without our permission, the sale or exchange of goods or services, or the display of goods or services for sale or exchange, or solicitation for sale or exchange of goods or services, whereby goods include but not limited to Disney-branded merchandise and services include but not limited to tour services or photography services of any kind.
- Engaging with other Guests or impeding the hotel operation while posing as or portraying any character in costume.
- Photography, videotaping, recording or live broadcasting of any kind, except for personal and non-commercial purposes.
- Dressing, wearing costumes, or using accessories, such as replicas of Shanghai Disney Resort costumes or nametags, that could cause confusion or imply that they are Cast Members of Shanghai Disney Resort.
- Engaging with other Guests or impeding the hotel operation while posing as or portraying any character in costume.
- Interview activities of any kind without prior authorization, including but not limited to image shooting, filming, recording, interviewing Guests or Cast Members.
- Using motorbikes, bicycles, tricycles, carts or other wheeled carriers (with the exception of strollers, manual wheelchairs or electrically-powered wheelchairs. Electrically-powered wheelchairs can only be used by guests with mobility difficulties in their lower limbs, and electrically powered wheelchairs must have at least three wheels and may only be operated at a walking pace not exceeding 6km/h).
- Using recreation devices with wheels, such as inline skates, shoes with built-in wheels, skateboards or scooters.
- Playing sports (such as soccer) or playing with kites, remote-controlled flying devices and remote-controlled toys.
- Picnicking, barbecuing or camping.
- Taking cuttings, leaves, flowers, fruit, seeds etc. and/or otherwise damaging plants, or disturbing and feeding animals (including birds and fish).
- Engaging in any unsafe acts or other acts that may impede the operation of the hotel or any associated facilities.
- Any activities in violation of any PRC laws.
We reserve the right to deny admission to any person, or to require a person already admitted, to leave the hotel immediately, without refund or compensation, for failure to comply with any of these rules, for unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances so require.
We may photograph, film, videotape and/or record in the hotel at any time. Your entry into the hotel constitutes your consent to be filmed, photographed and/or recorded, and to our use of these images and/or sound recordings, which may capture your likeness and/or voice, for our internal business, administrative and operational purposes or other directly related purposes, for the purposes of meeting legal, safety or security requirements, or for other legitimate purposes.
For the purposes of these rules, “we” means either or both of “Shanghai International Theme Park Associated Facilities Company Limited” and “Shanghai International Theme Park and Resort Management Company Limited”.
